By Okpara John
A group consists of serving members of the national youth corps, today in Lagos Nigeria threatened to embark on indefinite strike and to travel back to their various home states if the federal government does not in a matter of urgency pay their allowances for the month of June 2016.
While speaking to our news agent, the group said that their salaries for the month of June supposed to have been paid by now. They lamented that the amount they are being paid in monthly bases is not something one can write home about, and even at that, the federal government always feel reluctant to pay them on time. The agitating group however issued a five days ultimatum to the federal government to pay their accrued salaries. The group made known to our agents that youth corpers in Lagos state shall not hesitate to embark on indefinite strike at the expiration of their ultimatum.
