JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced this in Abuja on 22 August 2017
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) pegged the minimum cut-off mark
for admissions into universities for the 2017/2018 academic session at 120, and adopted 100 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into polytechnics.
NOTE: The cut-off Marks as stated above are the general, or rather the minimum cut-off mark from JAMB. Universities and polytechnic are free to higher the cut-off Mark but cannot lower it, also they free to conduct post-UTME for candidates seeking admission but the price is pegged at N2,000 only.
