Benue State University shutdown indefinitely after students claimed that snakes swallowed their school fees

The management of the Benue State University (BSU) has suspended its semester exams and 'shutdown' the school indefinitely following massive protest staged by students of the institution after some of their colleagues were chased out of school over unpaid school fees.
The BSU Students took to streets of Makurdi, the Benue State capital to protest for being chased out of school by the University Authority because of failure to pay school fees.
Some students said they couldn't pay their school fees because their parents’ salaries and pensions are yet to be paid by the State Governor.
However, students were seen holding placards indicating that snakes had swallowed moneys meant for their fees.
