Official: 2019 Batch 'A' PCM Who Fall Into Any of these Two Categories Will Not Serve

This is to inform all the 2019 Batch 'A' Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has made it clear that any PCM who falls within the following categories will not be eligible to serve.

1. Difference of Names: If the names used in JAMB is in any way varies from the name used in your school, you will not be able to register online for NYSC.
  • Olisah Chukuemeka Peace & Olisah Chukwuemeka Peace are not thesame because of the spelling (check the red letters) 
  • Olisah. Peace & Olisah Chukwuemeka; also, Olisah Chukwuemeka. P & Olisah ChukwuemekaPeace are not thesame because of the initials. The names used in JAMB and in your school must not have initials.

Check your JAMB admission letter if there is initials, abbreviation or spelling mistakes, please run to any JAMB office close to you for correction before it's too late.
If it's from your school, then ask your school to correct it.

2. Age: This is also serious! Kindly note that NYSC has method of calculating age for service; if you are up to 30 years, then you are not eligible to serve.

Check the Date Of Birth(DOB) on your WAEC result, if it's not up to 30, then you can invoke your WAEC (DOB) using the WAEC result check scratch card. Get details here.

  5. Hi there Mr Humphrey, my friend saw a different State of Origin on his profile while trying to register for the NYSC 2019 Batch A. He saw Osun State whereas he’s actually from OYO. What could be done to resolve this please?
